I was born in Tampa, Florida, in the 1950s. While on an athletic scholarship at the University of South Florida, I obtained a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
I joined the United States Army in the early 1980s and attended Officer Candidate School, graduating in the top ten percent as a regular army commissioned officer.
While in the U.S. Army Ranger School training segment of the Officer Candidate School, I received the Ranger "Follow Me" award. I graduated from the United States Army Airborne School, and I also have Air Assault training.
I continued my studies while at Fort Benning at Troy University and obtained a master's degree in criminal justice administration.
While serving in the Military Police Corps, stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia, I had a vast array of duties and training: Garrison Law Enforcement, officer in charge of the Canine Unit; counter-terrorism training; facilitated training and logistics for Military Operations on Urban Terrain (MOUT); evaluator of military police National Guard units; and the Officer in charge of the Fish and Game unit.
I retired as a captain after resigning as a regular army commissioned officer in the early 1990s.
After my military service I worked in the transportation industry and the Defense Security Services (Boeing international security).
I am a retired business owner. I have been a student at RSE (Ramtha's School of Enlightenment) since 1989 and have been one of the appointed teachers and instructors of RSE since 2004.
He received a diploma in philosophy and a bachelor's degree in theology (B.D.) and graduated at the top of his class with the highest honors, Suma and Magna cum Laude, from Saint Patrick's University in Ireland.
He excelled in the areas of ancient languages, biblical Greek and Hebrew, the literary criticism of ancient texts, and the history of religious mysticism and thought.
He continued his research work at the University of Salamanca, Spain, in preparation for his master's degree and licentiate in theology (S.T.L. - Sacrae Theologiae Licentiatus).
The fruits of his studies and his career as theologian were first recorded in his research work for Saint Patrick's University that received the first-place award in the field. The title of that work is: "The Secret of the Spanish Mystics and the Creative Power of the Word."
Upon completion of his studies in Ireland, he continued his research and education, to the present day, in the unique School of Ancient Wisdom, Ramtha's School of Enlightenment, the closest school of thought to the supernatural experiences claimed by the Spanish mystics of the Renaissance.
Jaime Leal-Anaya has occupied the post of literary editor and writer of JZK Publishing, the official publishing house of Ramtha's School of Enlightenment, since the spring of 2000. His editorial work on Ramtha's teachings include more than two dozen books of Ramtha's teachings, a select glossary of Ramtha concepts and terms, as well as an introduction and commentaries to Ramtha's teachings.
Jaime Leal-Anaya is also part of the team of appointed teachers and instructors of RSE since 2009 and has presented workshops for Ramtha's School in the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
In 2011, he became part of the editorial team of SuperConsciousness Magazine, the Voice for Human Potential, for a few years and has participated in multiple television programs, radio interviews in the United States and Latin America.
He currently is also the owner, writer and editor, in both English and Spanish, of his own publishing house, Hun Nal Ye Publishing, Retracing the Footsteps of Ancient Wisdom: Hun-Nal-Ye.com.
